Read about how our team can provide your business with the very best laser cutting and fabrication in Houston.

CO2 Laser Processes

This process allows us to cut a very precise profile of the object. To ensure perfection, each laser is CNC controlled. The computer and operator work together to create highly precise cuts. A major benefit of utilizing CO2 laser cutting is each cut ends with a high-quality finish. We’re confident that each piece you receive will meet your exact specifications.

Fiber Cutting

For many years, CO2 laser cutting has been a staple in the fabrication industry and many consider it to be the most reliable option. However, more recently the industry has been using fiber laser cutting. The process is similar to CO2 cutting but varies in one important way: the cutting beam width is only 1/10 the width of CO2 laser’s cutting beam. “Briefly, fiber laser light is created by banks of diodes. The light is channeled and amplified through fiber optic cable similar to that used for data transfer. The amplified light, on exiting the fiber cable, is collimated or straightened and then focused by a lens onto the material to be cut.”

Benefits of Laser Cutting

Our team’s skill with laser cutting allows us to get most orders completed expeditiously, many times within 24 hours; in special cases, we can even complete the project within the same day we start it. We are able to maintain our high level of quality and retain our title as a rapid delivery service due to the following aspects:

  • Lasers don’t dull over the course of the project like other cutting methods
  • Lasers create very precise profiles and a cleaner edge than other fabricating techniques
  • Lasers have the ability to cut more intricate detail on different surfaces

By offering both fiber and CO2 lasers, we can accept projects with thin and thick material, while still maintaining a fast turnaround time. Contact our team today to get a quote on both options to see which laser cutting route is best for you.
